Virgil joined Shockwave Medical in May 2022 as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations. Virgil most recently served as VP of Manufacturing Operations at Endologix, LLC, where he worked there since 2018. Prior to that role, Virgil spent 2 years at Edwards Lifesciences as a Sr. Director, PMO responsible for supporting their Resilia product launch plans. Most of Virgil\u2019s early career was spent at Biosense-Webster, Johnson & Johnson where he worked for 25 years split between multiple R&D positions to the Director of Manufacturing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Virgil will lead the Operation manufacturing and engineering team at the Santa Clara, CA site while driving Operational Excellence and partnering with R&D to create a world-class Technology Development Center of Excellence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Virgil earned his BSM degree from Pepperdine University and has certifications as a Tool and Die Maker and a GreenBelt\/BlackBelt in Lean Manufacturing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\t
