He is responsible for building and driving the organization\u2019s operational functions and delivering technology capabilities, while implementing continuous improvement processes to encourage sustainable growth.\u202f This includes leading the following organizational functions: Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Supply Management, Operational Excellence, Enterprise Facilities, Informational Technologies functions.<\/p>\n<p>Luis came to us from Medtronic, where he held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility since 2011, including most recently Vice President of R&D Neurovascular Business and Vice President of Operations for the Brain Group of Businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Luis has over 24 years of experience in medical devices in roles covering Operations, Quality and R&D in Guidant, Boston Scientific and Medtronic prior to joining Shockwave Medical.
