Dominic Allocco, MD

Dr. Allocco leads the Clinical Affairs team and is responsible for clinical studies in coronary therapies, peripheral vascular disease and valvular heart disease.

Prior to joining Shockwave, he was Vice President of Clinical for Interventional Cardiology at Boston Scientific. Dr. Allocco received his BA in Economics from Harvard College and then received his M.D. from Stanford University. He also holds an MS in Engineering from Stanford University as well as an MS in Biomedical Informatics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Allocco completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
