Peter Nowakowski
VP, Quality
Peter joined Shockwave Medical as a Sr. Director of Quality in October 2018. Most recently, he served as a Director of Quality at Confluent Medical Technologies, a fast-paced contract manufacturer of medical devices. Prior to that role, Peter spent several years at Boston Scientific, where he held a quality leadership position guiding the development and conformity to regulatory standards of new medical devices.
He currently serves as Shockwave Medical’s Vice President of Quality, and is the company’s management representative for all matters relating to FDA and Notified Body dealings on conformity and standards.
Peter earned his MS in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University and his BS in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
