This year’s event will include three days of valuable sessions at our Training Village where expert operators will deliver state-of-the-art presentations on how they solve everyday challenges with our two proven technologies, Shockwave Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) and Shockwave Reducer. In addition, our Hands-on Sessions will offer first-hand insights and tips and tricks for our practice-changing technologies.
We’ll also have three sponsored sessions where we’ll explore the mechanism of action and the benefits of Shockwave IVL and Shockwave Reducer.
The Shockwave Training Village is an immersive experience designed for a deep dive into Shockwave IVL and its mechanism of action (MOA). Experience the new Shockwave C2 Aero firsthand and discover how calcium treatment can be simplified with the CALC method.

Dr. de Silva provides an overview of the definition, prevalence, challenges and impact of refractory angina on patients’ lives. Why is angina a problem? Why is angina misunderstood? These are just some of the questions Dr. de Silva tackles before exploring a real-world patient case.
Dr. Gori (University Medical Centre, Mainz, Germany) explores the toll of angina on quality of life and how it remains problematic despite treatment, before diving into key data supporting the procedural success and safety of Shockwave Reducer in treating refractory angina.
Physicians participating in the Training Village Sessions, Hands-on Sessions and Sponsored Sessions are paid consultants of Shockwave Medical.
