Jason Shields
VP & General Manager, Reducer
Jason is the Vice President & General Manager of the Reducer team at Shockwave Medical. He oversees innovation, clinical development, and commercialization of the Shockwave Reducer therapy, designed to improve the lives of patients suffering from angina. Previously, Jason was instrumental in advancing Shockwave’s IVL technology by creating a world-class professional education and sales training program.
Before joining Shockwave, Jason spent 17 years at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, where he served in a variety of commercial execution and innovation roles, leading global teams in the Surgery and Surgical Robotics spaces.
Jason earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and holds a BSBA from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business.
