Enrique Saborio
VP & General Manager, Costa Rica, Global Operations
Enrique joined Shockwave Medical in September 2022 as Vice President of Operations and General Manager for Costa Rica Operations. In this role, he has successfully led the launch of operations in Costa Rica, overseeing the commercialization of coronary products.
Before joining Shockwave, Enrique served as Director of Operations and General Manager at Creganna Medical / TE Connectivity in Costa Rica, where he drove the transfer and ramp-up of operations. He also spent several years at Boston Scientific, holding multiple leadership roles focused on the establishing and scaling of greenfield operations. Enrique was previously at Intel Corporation, playing an instrumental role in launching the company’s greenfield operation in Costa Rica as well.
Enrique holds an MS in Industrial Sciences from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Costa Rica.
